	Some new functionalities explained:
	Location-oriented working Measurements with x, y co-ordinates can be given in the GIS part of Terraindex. By linking your own Autocad or ArcGis drawings to a project, you can gain a good understanding of the area of your project. You can also look at all data for a location. You can zoom in on a location and see what measurement/projects have been carried out here. Via queries, you can, for example, gain an insight into contamination at the location. In this way, information from the whole database can be made available from a GIS perspective.
	WebGis With the use of WebGIS, you can easily look at data and combine such data with data from third parties ((WMS), for example Dino (TNO), Alterra or the Land Register (still at the testing stage).
	Borehole profiles/Length profiles Create length profiles by drawing a line on the map. The selected measurements will be projected on to this line so that you can see the borehole profiles in terms of their relative distance and height. In this way, you can gain a good impression of the composition of the soil in the area of the project. These profiles can then be printed out or can be exported to Autocad.
	Multiple languages TerraIndex caters for different languages. As well as the imported data, the codes used will also be given in the language chosen. However, the report will be universal, so that information can be imported and viewed in different languages.
	Soil samples In TerraIndex, you can import Gef-CPT files with Soil sample data. With this information, you can display the soil sample graphs alongside the usual borehole profiles so that all of the information is available to you at the same time. When displaying soil sample graphs, different layouts will be available, with there being the option of working in colour.

	Graphical borehole logs The graphical borehole log generator of TerraIndex is one of the most flexible. With a press of the button, digital reports can be displayed on the screen or in the form of a .pdf document.
	Digital recording In recent years, the fieldwork module (Field) has well and truly proved to be an indispensable aid to the digital recording of research data: Digital exchange of data from the field; Scanning of bar codes; Optional GPS expansion for the determination of measurements; Map functionality.
	Analysis and testing TerraIndex has various tests such as Wbb, Bbk and Vlarebo as standard. There is also the possibility of asking database questions by means of a query module, and the GIS module makes it possible to show the results on a map.
